FUNDRAISING


Fundraising is an inevitable activity for virtually every organisation today and we at City Limits believe that fundraising can be fun!

To prove it we have developed an innovative package that allows you to host a rewarding fundraising event, with minimum effort and maximum financial reward. We have a choice of packages which can be tailored to meet all of your organisation’s needs.

You will find below examples of fundraising packages, using an approach that has already proven to be effective & rewarding – both financially and in terms of building team spirit and loyalty.

Bowling Fundraiser:


Format to arrange a successful fundraiser:

A) A suitable night is agreed between club and City Bowl.
B) You should aim for a minimum of 30 teams of 4 people.
C) Economics

A charge per team is decided by your organisers.
City Bowl charges €20 per team

(We recommend 4-6people per team)

Example 1: If you have 50 teams playing and you charge €60, you will clear €2,000

Example 2: If you have 50 teams playing and you charge €80, you will clear €3,000

Example 3: If you have 50 teams playing and you charge €100, you will clear €4,000

Example 4: If you have 80 teams playing and you charge €80, you will clear €4,800

Example 5: If you have 80 teams playing and you charge €100, you will clear €6,400

Other ideas to raise extra funds on the night


1.    Hold a raffle and/or an auction on the night

2.    Have different sponsors for each lane. You should aim to secure €100 or more per lane. €100 x 18 lanes = €1,800

3.    Produce an Annual Club Booklet giving relevant club information and have sponsors advertise in it.
